TJ: So I’ve had some comments/emails
asking for a Lamaa update
and I thought I’d ask you if you wanted to write one up if you got a chance
THE PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW.
I’d do it myself but I feel only you can best describe your leveling frenzy and how the fuck you managed that
Lamaa: I’m not sure I want to bring it up again, some of the comments annoyed me throughout the various blogs last time
but I will just say if had been playing with any other group of people I probably would have gave up and let it go, but I just enjoy playing with everyone in AC way too much and just wanted to get back into the game with them again
and when you’ve been playing a hunter two years you can basically level while doing other tasks, autoshot, afk, do laundery, etc
TJ: Well if you don’t want to, that’s cool. However, I would preface it with a “this is not a rehashing of the issue. This is just what Lamaa is up to since some of you asked.”

Lamaa: and them putting me back on nightshift after it happened did wonders for my catching up time
TJ: I could have 14 70s too if I could play at work
Anyway, I was serious. This isn’t a re-hashing of the ban issue, some people just wanted to know what Lamaa is up to. In summary, he took about, seriously, 15 minutes, and leveled another hunter to 70, and is back to raiding with AC.
Ok, it wasn’t 15 minutes, but it was fast. I don’t know the exact time, but I know that I’ve got ONE 70, and a priest that I have been playing for TWO YEARS who is level 63. Leveling: UR DOIN IT WRONG. He’s just got some kind of special brand of insanity and a lot of help from his friends (I obviously have no friends). And playing a hunter. That obviously doesn’t hurt either. The afk autoshot was a joke, of course. They only do that in raids.

I’m with you there, TJ. Going on 3 years and only one lvl 70 priest (due to guildmates helping level to run instances) and one lvl 59 hunter, (oh, and a lvl 30 druid just for bank-alt).

I think in this case there was absolutely NOTHING wrong with leveling as fast as possible. He wanted to get back to raiding, and AC wanted him back in the raids as well. No shady behavior went on – just a LOT of work on his part. It was extremely impressive.

I’ve gotten one toon to 70. I’m working on a second now… and I’ve stalled at 33. WTG. I’m always jealous of those that can level like crazy :)

I have too many alts. If I took all my time played and put it all into one toon, I’d have solo’d Kil’Jaeden by now LOL. Good job Lamaa! Fall down 9 times, get up 10!

I am the laziest leveler out there but at one time I wanted a level 60 hunter REALY badly (pre BC). Took me ’bout 2 – 3 weeks and 8 days played time. What do I want to say with that?
If you really want something there is usually a way… and Lamaa absolutely wants to play with you AC again… He must really like you all and enjoy the game with you. I wish there were more people / guilds like that out there… sadly they become rarer by the day.
