November 7, pre-dog park
November 7th, 2009 | by TJ |“Why do my shoes always end up tied over to the side like that?”
“Because you tie them yourself.”
“What does that mean?”
“You’re a little off-center.”
It is way better to be me than to be someone who has to deal with me.

Oh! Oh! Mine do that too! It’s because I usually rest my ankle on my knee when I’m tying my shoes. When I bother to bend over and leave my foot on the floor, the ties are centered.
Off-centered is way cooler, IMO.

Mine tie in and stay in the center but instead of hanging sideways like normal the “bunny ears” face toward my ankle and toes its weird.

Shoe gremlins. Seriously. They hang on the inside of your feet by the shoelaces because they don’t want to get bumped against things while you walk. This drags your shoelaces inwards. Try wearing dried red chili’s on your shoes and that should help.

I have those same shoes!
And I just had to look down at my shoelaces and found that they are doing the exact same thing. I tie mine the same way Kelly-the-commenter does, but I always try to still tie them in the middle. Weird.
Now I have to re-tie them because it’s starting to bother me. Ack!!!

Gotta agree with Softi.
That is a nice one-liner.
Wish I could come up with those quips when needed.
