November 4, pre-Apple Store
November 4th, 2009 | by TJ |“I’m leaving PT and coming home to shower, so go ahead and get ready. Oh, and could you also get the… never mind, I’ll do it.”
“No, no, what do you need?”
“I was just going to ask you to get the Mac cleaned up and ready, but I’ll do it.”
“Cleaned up?”
“Never mind!”
“Are all my crazy desktop icons going to embarrass you?”
“That’s not what I mean. Never MIND!”
“No, what do you mean?”
“I meant the outside. I’ll do it.”
“The outside? No. Are you serious? You want to clean the outside of the MacBook? Before we go to the Apple Store? You want to — No. No, you are not doing that. No.”
“I’ll take care of it!”
“No! You are not cleaning the laptop! There is only room for one neurotic in this relationship, and it’s not you. I’m hiding it.”
“The appearance of electronics and — ”
“OK, BYE!”

lol awesome.
Speaking of neurotic, my mother pays a cleaning crew to come over and clean her house from top to bottom once a month. What does she do before the cleaning crew shows up? You got it she cleans the house from top to bottom.

My mom used to make us tidy up our rooms before the cleaning woman came to the house. So weird.

My gf has been in Iraq for the last month. Her very first email to me was a request…no a DEMAND that I find some way to send her a dustbuster.
I asked if she POSSIBLY thought she could stay ahead of all the fine white sand that must be landing on her bedding, her clothes, her desk. Her response?
‘Pfft. That’s just natural. But my Mac! It SUFFERS! SAVE. ME.’

Ha, my mom always made me clean up my room before the cleaning lady came over too! What’s up with that?
(look, I’m blossoming into a Person Who Comments!)

It’s actually because if your room is a mess, they can’t do things like vacuuming and dusting. It’s not their job to organize, just to clean.
