January 2, squabble one

January 2nd, 2010 | by TJ |

“There’s a store I want to go to in Phoenix, will you look it up?”

“What is it called?”

“Buffalo something?”

“Is it actually called Buffalo Something?”

“Buffalo something.”

“I can’t find any store called Buffalo Something.”

“You actually looked up Buffalo Something? It’s not Buffalo Something. It’s Buffalo something!”

“I asked you if it was Buffalo Something and you said it was!”

“No, you said, ‘Is it Buffalo Something?’ and I said “Buffalo something.

What? What does it sell?”

Clothes. Buffalo something. What do you think Google is for? I had faith in you that you would figure this out. What the hell kind of place is called Buffalo Something?”

“That is why I asked you if it was Buffalo Something!”

(from another room “Buffalo Exchange!”)

“Buffalo Exchange! See! That is what I said! Buffalo something!”

“No, you said Buffalo Something.”

“I SAID BUFFALO SOMETHING. DAMN.”

I googled “buffalo phoenix store” and got it right away. Phil is not a pro googler.

I went with “Buffalo something Arizona”. I honestly thought that the store was called Buffalo Something. So I guess I lose the day. She is champion of the day. /defeated

It’s probably bad netiquette siding with you on TJ’s blog, but in the past I’ve done the same thing so it’s an easy* mistake to make.

TJ strikes me as the kind to have the good grace not to wander past it and say “Hey, look! It’s Buffalo Something!” all the time. My boyfriend does that and it’s been 4 years! =D

    * I say “easy” because the alternative is to say that it’s a stupid thing to do and I’m a moron for doing it!

    @ Lila… Bing = But it’s not Google.

2 turns out i’m a little girl, cause when I saw buffalo something, I immediately knew it was Buffalo Exchange. That or well trained by Mrs. Skraps.

Gah, there is totally a different emphasis between Buffalo Something and Buffalo something, also there is a pause.

I think if I tried to number and post every squabble, I wouldn’t have time to actually squabble. An interesting catch-22, that.

Completely random, but I totally saw someone who looked JUST like you today. I ran up to her and said hi… then realized you live across the country. xD

My brother pretends to be a *food* person. He talks about how to properly pair this vegetable with that protien and which wine compliments what. But I know.

I’ve seen him in the Taco Bell drive-thru.
