Sure, the blogging has been lame lately, but cut me some slack. I was only 26 back then. I’m 27 now, obviously bloggingly mature.
Since July, just about every major element of my life has completely changed. Absolutely nothing at all is the same since I started this blog. And there’s going to be a lot more changes happening over the next year.
Of course, now that I’ve been a ripe old 27 for about, oh, 9 hours, give or take, I have totally come into my blogging prime, so you should be prepared to hear all about these events in painstaking, ridiculous, save-me-from-myself-Internet,-oh-please-save-me detail.
But for now, look what came to my office on Thursday:
Of course, Thursday wasn’t my birthday, but only a few of us are in the office for reduced hours on Friday, and every guy knows that if you’re sending a girl flowers, you don’t send them to her HOUSE. Who would SEE them?
According to my co-workers, he’s a winner. I have to agree.

Happy Birthday! It looks like you had a great birthday. I did (also on 12/6). No flowers for me, but I had to do nothing all day and got taken to a very nice steakhouse for dinner.

…btw. Dezember kids are the best even though we screwed when it gets to presents.
Ever heard the phrase “you just get something small/nothing for now, but you’ll get something BIG for X-mas”… just funny every one else gets something just as big PLUS they had a real birthday present…
