Two Eight
December 6th, 2009 | by TJ |Last year, I told you that 27 was totally going to be the year of awesome blogging, because 27 is obviously the prime blogging age.
I was totally and completely incorrect, and obviously, 28 is totally going to be that year. I feel it for REAL this time. guys. FOR REAL.
So last year, Phil got me some flowers and this prophetic t-shirt. This year? He has only improved with either age or continual direct exposure to me.
One, the obvious easy choice, done with great skill and artistry by the gift giver:
I would have posted sooner, but I spent an extremely long time choosing some breakfast chocolate.
Secondly, another wise choice – a gift for both of us, in a way:
I don’t mean “for both of us” like I have any intention of actually sharing, but “for both of us” in the sense that I am now slightly less likely to demand he take pictures of toilet paper and bundles of firewood named “Hot Wood” and other such things with his iPhone when we are out and about and then later demand he drop everything he is doing and email the pictures to me when I decide I am ready to write a blog post about the pictures I made him take for me, even if he is at work or pooping, because when I am ready to write about toilet paper, I must strike while the striking is good and I can’t be held up by his petty needs like “the military” or “wiping.” So in that sense, it is a gift for both of us. But mostly me.

I find it appropriate that you got Rare, Epic, and Legendary Chocolates, as well as some new iLevel Blizzard hasn’t even released yet (the red one) which is probably something like “Spoke of Only in Whispers.” Good job, Phil. Even the camera is a Blue.

You speak of writing of toilet paper. In 1980 I was in Bluefields, Nicaragua and while there I saw a brand of toilet paper called Dildo. No matter how ‘Ultra Softly’ I’m not sure how close to my butt I want that. I wish I had taken a picture.
