Shelbacca

Woe. Wooooe. Woe is Sheldon. Woooooeee. Woe. Wooooe. Poor Sheldon has not been outside in the last 45 seconds. Woe is Sheldon. Does no one care for the plight of Sheldon? Sheldon is overcome with woe. Woe, woe, woe. Sheldon is indoors. Woe, much like the woe Sheldon would feel if Sheldon found himself outdoors. Woe is Sheldon. Wooooe.

You’d laugh at him, too.

Sheldon does a pretty darn good Wookie imitation.

Those are pretty much exactly the same noises my dog makes when she wants something. I laugh at the wookiee, too. Must be a lab thing, to be so full of woe. :)

I saw this through my feedreader and didn’t see the video until I clicked through to see comments. I am so glad I didn’t miss it!

(also it’s odd that I didn’t see it, because I usually do.)

First of all, tell Sheldon I’m going to phone the ASPCA Monday morning to report this horrible suffering that he’s enduring. No dog should have to be indoors. And then outdoors. And then indoors. And possibly outdoors again. It’s barbaric.

Secondly, and finally, what’s up with his collars? It looks like the one on top is a giant hospital ID bracelet. Has poor Sheldon been remanded to the Dog Mental Hospital over his condition?

It looks like a bark collar. Just a warning, be careful with those. My friend has a blue heeler that was trained with a bark collar and it didn’t teach the dog to not bark, it only taught her to bark in an earpiercingly shrill shriek that was so high pitched it did not activate the collar.

    Nope, just a standard e-collar.

The giant one is his e-collar. It can be sized, but since he’s still growing, we don’t want to cut it down too much. Also, we don’t expect to need it for much longer, and leaving it long might allow for it to be resold, if he’d stop chewing on it!

    what is an e-collar?

Like a static collar or a shock collar? It has a separate remote, it’s not triggered by barking.
