Possibly more than you wanted to know.

But what can I say, Internet?

I like to share my joy with you.

All Nerdfighters may commence happy dances… now.

Are you feeling overshared yet, Internet? Or are you enjoying the blog of a person born without the shame gene?

The Redhead: Nice!
you should buy yourself a “it’s a girl/it’s a boy” cake to celebrate.
TJ: I bought pregnancy tests, a box of tampons and a pack of cigarettes.
I am ALL CLASS.
The Redhead: Well the tampons were optimistic.
TJ: I was hoping to influence destiny.

For the record, Internet, everything would have been just fine either way and it really would have only taken me a week or two to get over the “Oh, crap” phase and into the “shop for tiny things!” phase. But being the selfish type that I am, I am quite thrilled to be able to keep Phil to myself, hopefully for a good few years more.

Now that a large portion of the overhanging stress in my life has been eliminated, guess what! It is time to gear up for NaBloPoMo again!

Here are last year’s results. Who is playing this year, you know you want to!

I’m gonna be the ‘mother’ and say… be more careful!!! :P

Glad you got the result you were hoping, and I’m totally gonna be NaNoBloMo-ing this year – think I can manage my family blog AND my wow blog…? Think I might just go insane? Yeah, you’re right, that already happened. ;)

@Softi: Oh believe me, extreme carefulness will be exercised going forward.
@Heather B: I don’t drink, in general, but I do quite have the feeling that tonight may be a genuine Captain & Diet occasion.

Congrats on dodging the bullet this time. Kids are great, but they’re even better when you’re at least somewhat ready for ‘em. Enjoy your time with Phil!

I signed up! Dammit. I’m going to do my, you know, actual personal blog instead of the seldom-updated WoW one.

Grats on *not* being knocked up.

@Wow: In posting this, I did realize that some people might find it to be TMI, but here’s what I’m not sure of – which PART is TMI? The part that proves that holy shit, I’ve had sex, or the part that indicates that I was concerned that there may have been a “result” from that sex? I mean, if it had been positive, I assume it wouldn’t have been TMI, people are always “Hooray, baby!” all over the internet, but one could argue that a positive pregnancy test is much more definitive proof that someone has had sex than a negative test. How curious.

I really don’t think it’s TMI, I think grats over dodging a bullet are really in order.

I’ll be the first one to say yay! to a baby, but I’ll also be the first to say yay! to lack thereof if the person wanted it that way.

That being said, I’m going to do the “responsible adult” thing and wag my finger just a tad. ;)

TMI? Naw. I’s always happy ta hear me friends is gettin’ some. May things with the Phil continues all good and happy!

And on the subject of birth controllings, me daughter informs me what she already knows everything, no need to go into more explainings, thank-you-very-much-now-go-away-dad. So, you got questions or need advice, apparently she’s the one to talk to. Just FYI.

Had it come up “+”, could we have looked forward to Knocked Up 2 with Phil reprising Seth Rogen’s role and you as the insanely hot, but increasingly unlikable, Kathreine Heigl?

I wouldn’t call it TMI but I will admit that I thought “If they weren’t using protection, that’s just stupid”. Of course if you were using protection and it was just that .1% chance even with protection or whatever it is, then Woo Hoo and congrats! :)

At the 99 cents only store by my house, they stock the 99 cent pregnancy tests right next to the 99 cent condoms. Which I suppose makes sense. Will snap a photo for you next time I’m there.
