Hmm… could be a DISASTER.
November 28th, 2007 | by TJ |What do you think would happen, if for the rest of NaBloPoMo (God that’s a dumb name), I posted about every single thing that came into my head to post about?
I mean, normally throughout the day, things pop into my head to post about, but for some reason or another don’t get posted about – maybe on second thought it was dumb, or I got too busy, or, most often, I felt like it wasn’t a fully developed idea that I could make a whole post out of it.
Or I was lazy. A lot of times it’s the lazy thing.
I mean, I’ve made it this far in the month and haven’t missed a day. Some people find daily posting no challenge and are going for 100 posts in the month of November. While that’s a little beyond me, I have managed the every day thing, and on some days, it’s definitely been a stretch. But it’s only been a stretch because for some reason, a lot of times, I’ve chosen to write a cop out post instead of whatever was on my mind. Maybe what I thought of wasn’t funny, and I think you guys come here to see funny stuff. Maybe I didn’t want to reveal I have actual thoughts outside of trying not to trip over the curb while I walk into work carrying entirely too much diet soda. I think I would end up with a whole hell of a lot of really short, really ridiculous posts. I think you guys wouldn’t want to be my friends any more if you knew the kind of stuff that I almost post about every day. I think you’d get pretty sick of me. I think you might try to hunt me down so you could have me arrested and/or committed. I think I might do it anyway.

I see a lot of “I think” statements in that so I’ll continue the pattern. I think that you should try it. I think that you underestimate the loyalty of your readers, we come to read your posts, not just the funny ones or the ones about WOW. You are overall a very engaging person and I find that I’m drawn to the posts whether they are funny or not. I think that it would be great to see the random thoughts of The Demonic Ponytail.

Just think for a minuite how much crap we don’t say or put through one of the many filters society demands we use to be “Socially Acceptable”….

Well I’m still waiting to hear the rest of the 9:30 club story. Though overall I always kind of thought you wrote what ever was on your mind just only once a day or less. If you keep writing random stuff throughout the day it definitely could be entertaining
