TJ: I will fix it
I just don’t have any batteries
Phil: Then the beeping will most likely not stop until you get one
TJ: well I will go get one then! And then I will get on a ladder at the top of the stairs
Phil: This can’t go well
TJ: don’t you have any faith in me?
Phil: I have a lot of faith, and in this instance I will pray for a miricle.
TJ: BUTTFACE.

Of course my roommate woke up and fixed it in the 15 minutes I was gone to get a new battery.

Hehe, the ones in my house are mains powered so technically don’t need the batteries changing, unless we have a power cut. But I take the chances of a power cut and the house being on fire at the same time to be quite slim.
