I don’t get all hokey
November 11th, 2009 | by TJ |As the title says, I am not one to get cheesy and hokey and gross, but I am here to tell you that all of the super insightful and amazing things that I have to tell you today are going to have to wait, because I am spending the day with Phil. Veteran’s Day and all, you know?
Phil, in his best “I’m totally your hero” pose.

Yay! And your caption made me laugh. :) If you didn’t see it on Twitter, you really need to watch http://tinyurl.com/yc5xmvd since I know you love doggies (assuming so since you have Brinkley) and it goes well with Veterans Day.

Thank you Phil for being one of America’s heroes! And thank you to my cousin 1LT Mark Harris currently in Afghanistan with the Army Rangers.
PS Your shower curtain certainly does rock.
PPS This totally counts as one of my five today!

I thought that was his “Suck it in to fit into my twelve year old pants” pose?

Yay for Phil! My hubby was in the Army, so I always try to tell him thank you on Veteran’s Day, too. Yay for military men (and women, of course!).

There I was, flipping through Google Reader, just like any other day. My phone rings, and the ring tone happens to be “Don’t Stop Believing”, which as we all know can get dangerously stuck in one’s head. So now I’m sitting flipping through Google Reader and singing “Don’t Stop Believing”, nice and loud because no one’s home…and as I come to the line “Working hard to get my fill”, this post, with the picture of Phil, pops up.
After the giggles subsided and I picked myself up off the floor, I just had to share this story. Happy Veteran’s Day!

Phil looks mildly concerned about something. Was there a giant tarantula hunched over the door, preparing to launch onto and start gnawing his face?
