October 24, mid-morning

“Aw, look, Envirosax are on sale.”

“So? Buy them if you want them.”

“No… can’t justify the expense right now. What’re you up to?”

“Wishing I could afford a new memory stick for the PSP so that I could download and play Final Fantasy 7.”

“Wow.”

“What?”

“Nothing. Just that, here I am, complaining about not being able to afford reusable grocery bags, and you can’t even play the video game you want to play. Thank you. You’ve really put things in perspective for me.”

“You’re welcome!”

You know, when I first saw “Envirosax” I got ultra-excited because I thought it was going to be some kind of awesome disposable biodegradable saxaphone.

And now I’m really disappointed because it’s a bag =(

Thanks to your crisis with the Envirosax, I got to find out Final Fantasy 7 was for download for the PSP. Through your blog I thank Phil for bringing it up for you to write down, for now I am quite the happy clam with my Final Fantasy 7.

You could always do what my father-in-law does: He has one large trash bag in the curbside can that he takes his kitchen trash to, and DUMPS IT IN, then brings the used kitchen trash bag back into the kitchen and puts it back in the can. I kid you not.. him: “That’s .05 cents I’m saving!” me: “That’s a zillion germs and bacterias you just put back for reuse.”
